Every sweater individually checked

The ugly truth about Christmas sweaters

Amazon listings are keyword soup. We look at every photo of every sweater and tell you what it actually is: knitted or printed, real lights or painted ones, and whether the title is even right.

Why this site is different

We look at every photo

Not just the first one. Back views, close-ups and the gallery shot where the model finally moves her arm off the slogan.

Knitted or printed?

Half the "sweaters" out there are printed sweatshirts. Nothing wrong with that - but you should know before you order.

Lights that actually light

If it says light-up, we check the lights are real LEDs and not a picture of fairy lights.

We call out bad listings

A "Cat Mom" sweatshirt that is really Merry Christmas. A "Summer Camp" tee that is really Die Hard. We fix the name.
